I wasn't sure if you were arguing the broad point that convoys are the silver bullet to GB's problems everywhere (which they are not) and the more
limited version that they needed to give French both the plural and the singular enough to survive.

Unless the British resupply their troops and get some coal and other goods to the French they are in for a world of pain. I suspect that without such
respupply the British forces will become totally combat ineffective and face collapse in the face of a determined attack.
