If I were a young, well-heeled vamp, I'd probably start off with the same mundane questions you'd get between two guys stuck in an elevator, with the conversation taking off on some point of strong mutual interest or strong difference of opinion:

"Where ya from - what's that like?"

"Married? Kids?"

"So what do you/your people think of us?"

"What do you do for recreation?"

"What do you do for a living?"
